Jump Saddles
If you see a saddle or ten that you like the look of, or even if you hate them all, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us. (Details available on the Contact Us page). We try not to sell saddles simply on what you think you need and always prefer to fit to you and your horse because that's often a different story altogether! Saddle fitting can be done at your place or mine and is included in the price of any saddle of €200 or more within 30 miles. If you spend less or live further fees start at €30 to cover petrol. Also included is a 14 day full money back happiness guarantee. If you want to go it alone that's fine too, saddles can be posted out for €20, full refund on safe return within 14 days.
147. Black Berney "Junior Jumper". 16.5" seat, MW fitting. Seems to have been left out while someone was painting their shed and has some small dots of paint across the seat, not at all noticeable. €395
146. Made by Bates so with all the advantages of a changable gullet plate this is the Caprilli jump model. 18in seat, forward cut with tons of room for a longer leg. The panel is a Cair system in good condition and is a close contact style. Moveable front and rear blocks, this saddle will be supplied with a gullet plate to suit it's new wearer, but they are easily got and are exactly the same as Wintec gullets. Soft feel black leather €625
76. Brand new English Ambassador Event. This is very forward and a little small to size which is 18in, substantial knees and square back offers heaps of security, flashy looking and stamped no 5 fit which is wide. This saddle is a year or two old and has been in a shop which was so overwhelmed with stock it never saw a horse. Would suit a rider with jump/crosscountry interests, it has a flock panel and appears not to have been on a horse €650 (about half price).
92. This black square back Le Parcours from CTD is 18in and a medium fit. It has front and back blocks, the front ones are high set so you could really shorten up if you needed to or it could suit a very long legged rider. Good solid condition this has many miles still to go, in used condition it has retained good colour. The knee pads are soft and good looking, if that matters to you. €420
15. Lux - Low mileage for age this is a very jumpy jump saddle - Lux is one of the early Albion models and this one has a narrow seat (boy hips) but a decent bearing surface. Moveable front and back blocks it must have been hiding somewhere as the condition is good and the leather soft, there is a small slit on the cantle. Stamped (and measures) 17.5, medium tree but not over flocked as many older saddles are. €395
62. Albion Legend 5000 jump this one is almost new and claims to be on a medium thoroughbred tree, would pass for a medium narrow I think. 18in seat complete with the detachable front knee blocks and fixed smallish back blocks, it has not done enough to even be broken in. Great colour and excellent condition €620
144. This one has been here before, well loved and looked after it has a few miles done but is still in excellent order and has recently had a full set of new straps. Stubben Seigfreid, this is the jump model and has substantial knee and thigh blocks, flat seat and a square cantle. Popular model for security and durability, made in Switzerland. It measures 17.5in in the seat and would fit a generous medium/medium wide horse. €370
