We try not to sell saddles simply on what you think you need and always prefer to fit to you and your horse because that's often a different story altogether! Saddle fitting can be done at your place or mine and is included in the price of any saddle of €200 or more within 30 miles. If you spend less or live further fees start at €30 to cover petrol. Also included is a 14 day full money back happiness guarantee. If you want to go it alone that's fine too, saddles can be posted out for €20, full refund on safe return within 14 days.

188. Barnsby Pony Club Approved, love these saddles as they lack a lot of the bulk of more recent pony saddles but seem to have exactly what you need. This one is 16.5in m, the tree is totally solid but the seat is a bit baggy. The answer is to sit on it. €185

118. Another pretty baby, this one is made by Silhouette, a good English make, and since it arrived has been in the kitchen having a bottle (of leather oil). Neat 15in seat on a wide fitting tree this would be a great starter saddle with short flaps for little legs, not too forward but with a bit of knee roll it could get you round the Starter Stakes. 48. Made by Jefferies this is a nice little low profile saddle - it is blackish and in tidy order, on a narrow tree so suit the more racy type. Measures 17in but feels smaller and is definitely for a pony rather than a horse with smallish flaps. €230
69. English pony saddle by Top Flight. This one is clean enough without much wear, it is mature though so I have restitched the girth straps just to be on the safe side, although the straps themselves don't show much wear. The seat measures 16in and the knee pads are all puffy - not sure what that's about but warm and comfy I would think. Wide fit
